The victory was especially sweet for Bryant, who has never hidden his disdain for the Suns, a team right behind the Lakers in the Pacific Division.

"I don't like them," he said. "They used to whup us pretty good and let us know about it. I won't forget that."

I consider this comment quoted by the AP to be a compliment. I'm glad that Kobe remembers us when were good no matter how he meant it.

Those were the days, right? Now we're just a farce masquerading as a legit basketball team. Sure we'll hang around in most games because Nash is good enough to keep us in it, but come end game situations, we have no legit closer, and get stomped when other teams turn up the heat.

Regardless, $arver and the FO will continue to play the mental games to trick themselves into thinking we can hang with good teams. Not good times.

Grant Hill can't guard Kobe anymore. I don't think there is a player on the roster (maybe Josh Childress) who can guard Kobe. And we don't have a playmaker like Kobe either. Unless we have a lights out defense + shooting night, we aren't going to beat the good teams with legit playmakers (i.e. Durant, Kobe, Rose).

Anytime the opp. defense over plays the pick and roll we struggle to do anything on the possession. We can't just be a one trick pony with the pick and roll and Nash isn't the fastest guard to break through the pick and roll. He's never been blessed with many calls his way either if he gets pushed around on the P&R either.

The positives:
Gortat is a legit beast
Morris is going to be a serviceable NBA player at the very least
Channing Frye is getting his three on.
Ronnie Price looks decent. Better than Goran Tragic last year (although he's played pretty well this year).

Break it up Sarvar you douche.

Nevertheless break it up, trade Nash when he still has value Sarvar. He's still a very good PG and could put a contending team in a better situation. I don't know what I'd want from the Knicks for Nash. I'm not a fan of Fields who looks pretty crappy now and Iman Shumpert isn't enough for Nash.

Won't happen.

The Suns will be just good enough to hover around .500 and get the 13th-15th pick. Can't wait.

We had our chance of winning a championship couple of years ago when we had Amare Johnson Nash and Marion.
