good debate between Bayless and Broussard

Phoenix Suns: "The Buzz Saw" :)

they also take a shot at Staples center crowd :)

That's accurate description for the Suns. Our team has an unreal steadiness in its putting pressure on the other team. Offense with starters, defense with bench, and on top of that excellent offensive output from the bench, and then fresh legs for the starters for both defense and offense to close it out. It's a buzz saw buzzing non-stop. :D

I said it before that the snobby staple center crowd don't hold a candle to the Blazers or Spurs. The Suns weathered those crowds, they can do the same in LA. So yes, the Lakers should be worried.

Please, anyone but Skip Bayless on our side. He almost made me want to root for the Lakers.

My sister and nephew were at Game 1...they said it was like a mausoleum in there it was so quiet.

Hah! Exactly what I was thinking as he was yammering on..."I don't think I like having Skip Bayless on my bandwagon..."
That being said, Broussard is often kind of a douche.

when we actually have ANY lead in the second half of a Laker home game, then I'll START to believe the Lakers are in trouble. Until then, all that's happened is both teams have held serve.

That being said, I CAN NOT WAIT FOR TOMORROW'S GAME!!!!!!

I find the lakers home court music midi tunes very annoying.. They are so loud it overshadows the crowd.

I keep hoping I'm not dreaming, because I don't want to wake up.

I'll admit I am still afraid the Lakers with come out of their coma and play like they did in games 1 and 2. They have a very good team and it is shocking they lost two in a row. Ten again, I was shocked when the Spurs failed to turn it around.

After the Spurs went down in four, Mashburn was on Sports Center and his onely response was that he couldn't understand what was wrong with the Spurs.

I agree with Irish.. Regardless the lakers are still scary. They are the defending champs and you have to respect that.. I like how our team always plays as a team and the lakers sometimes play as 1 person. You all know who that is.

Post game 5 lakers should be worried for 2 reasons.

1. We played like crap

2. They won on a lucky put back

If that's what it takes for them to beat us at home. I would not sleep easy.

Why not? We're the better team.
They smoked us in gm 1,beat us in gm2,we beat them handily here in gm's 3 & 4, they escaped in gm 5 in their building.

It will take a monumental effort but thats what it takes to be a champion. The LAKERS are going to have to play unbelievably well in the next 2 games as well if they're gonna advance.

No way? Get outta here with that talk...:nono:

As disappointing as their tie-breaker at the buzzer was, I was thinking along the same lines.

Game 5 showed the Suns -- the Suns -- that, after we work hard to beat them in Phoenix to force Game 7, we were close enough (with the 18-point comeback, and Kobe's air ball in the final ten seconds) to believe that we can do it in L.A.

This loss, ironically, will be a confidence builder in Game 7.

One game at a time.

As much as I was rooting and still am rooting for the suns, i don't think they have enough gas to beat the lakers, whether it's 6 or 7. the suns have shown a lot of heart as a team. The problem i have with this loss is, while they did comeback from a huge deficit, it took a lot of tough outside shots in the last couple of mins.. just for the suns to pull even. and they barely pulled even. and if you are gonna call artest's put back lucky, you have to check richardson's bank 3 to tie it. if anything that is far more lucky than artest who simply outworked j-rich for that putback...and that's no fault of j-rich...artest is too big for him.

they are still having a problem with the lakers' length and size. My heart goes out to nash tonight, because he played exceptional and deserved a "W." So many times going back to his dallas days people have knocked nash for wearing down in the playoffs, but he's playing as well as I've ever seen him play in the postseason. I really hope he can win a ring while he still has a shot.

I think you can spin this one into your favor as a suns fan. but from a neutral perspective, the suns had a glorious opportunity to force OT and perhaps steal a game on the road...and this one would have been larceny. but they couldn't do it. to me that is a sign of bad things to come around the corner. I hope the suns have a double digit lead in game 6 late, because if not the lakers will be very tough to beat.
