Remember that tall guy who you saw like in the beginning of the game? I wonder why they use Rolo for the tip off.. Steve Nash has more hops than him.

Oh, you mean he is playing for the Suns.

Pietrus closed out well but the foul. Man Jared Dudley is awesome.

Robin Lopez is back in, for a rare glimpse of who he is tune in now!! It's like seeing a Bengal Tiger in the wild.

Even with our twin towers on the court the rebounding sucks.

Bynum is too physical for Lopez. Gortat held his own out there. The main issue is Odom who is long, strong and quick. He's always been the thorn in our side.

Lopez looks like a drunk with back problems. No sure movements, just uncoordinated stagger ball. But we are winning.:)

Decent D by Lopez on Bynum.

Steve

I think the key for using Lopez is not to ask him to do anything offensively. Maybe some day he will learn although I don't think so. He is so weak.

Jordan Dudley needs to continue to shoot.

Suns up 50-49 after the 2nd quarter. :) Suns shooting 51% with 6/13 3 pointers, Lakers 49% with 3/10 3 pointers.

Suns have committed 5 turnovers (Dragic with 2), Lakers 8.

Suns have 2 offensive rebounds, Lakers 8. :(

Suns have hit 6/6 free throws, Lakers have hit 8/13 free throws.

Pretty good 2nd quarter from the Suns. :) Hopefully they can keep it up. Somebody else is gonna have to step it up in the 2nd half as the Lakers will almost certainly try to shutdown Dudley. It would be pretty helpful if we could rebound better.

Funny anti Kobe sign held up by a Suns fan behind the desk at TC's playground. :)

Ironic how our least athletic player Dudley is putting up 19 points in 14 minutes whereas some of our most athletic players (Childress) can't even get in the game. Dudley is the reason why we are in this game, but without inside scoring we will struggle in the second half, especially late in the game.

The Suns were outrebounded by 10 in the first quarter, but were even with the Lakers in the second quarter. The tandem of Lopez and Gortat did not look impressive at all so far.

How is his brother's defense?
I haven't watched Brook play in a while, but here's an interesting stat:
Robin: 4.3 rebounds in 19 minutes per game.
Brook: 6.2 rebounds in 35 minutes per game.
