Lance throws 2 TD passes to lead 49ers past Texans 23-7

Coach Kyle Shanahan got back into the locker room after the latest win by the San Francisco 49ers just in time to see New Orleans finish off its own win a couple thousand miles away. The Niners will have to wait at least another week to clinch a playoff spot. Rookie Trey Lance threw two touchdown passes in the second half of his second career start, and the 49ers closed in on the playoffs with a 23-7 victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday.
