Fell in our laps and from the sound of it the chip on his shoulder got bigger, which is a good thing.

He was thr unsexy #1. Great scouting vid I found thats not just a 1000 dunks

He really does do everything well. I was surprised in the video by his handles and that step back jump shot.

What will seperate him from Andre Iguodala on offense is if he develops one great offensive skill and a counter move.

I love the pick as they got their junk yard dog potential lock down defender at the least.

Hes a tough one to call but very high floor and i think his ceiling could be very very high.

20 pounds or so of muscle and this kid could be phenomenal...he finishes strong... but he pushes his 3's

I love the pick, but that shot is ugly.

It is I agree but I think since the best shooter ever has a weird shot, people are softening on forms. He will get that right i think. For him to be effective though he just has to hit open threes as his game is not predicated on shooting

I'll take 5lbs of muscle and 10 overall. Would it be great if he looked like Kawhi? Yes but I'll settle for Paul George's slim but lean frame.

Anyone know why he refused Boston's workout? Was it because he thought he'd go top two?

My understanding is he felt they should have given him a look before they traded down, he felt slighted that they didn't see him as a viable #1 but were interested once they traded down to #3. That is tied to the tweet he sent out about Fultz, saying that anybody can put up good numbers on a bad team. He deleted that tweet but that was apparently on the same day as his cancelled workout.

Kid rates himself, I like what I'm hearing from him.

Also, here is a video with interviews with Booker, Chriss, and Bender all talking about Josh Jackson being picked at #4

I have a sneaky feeling Boston has now whiffed two years in a row with their draft picks, to our direct benefit.

Not that Tatum will be bad, just not as good as j j, and Jaylen brown is shaping up not so good when measured up against Chriss and hopefully (reaching a bit I know..) Bender.

Jackson might add 10 lbs. He does

Ainge's draft record is not that good. He is really good at trades. In fact, the only time that Ainge made any decent draft picks were when McD was his chief scout.
