Larranaga gets extension at George Mason (AP)

George Mason coach Jim Larranaga (lah-rah-NAY-guh) has signed a contract extension through the 2015-16 season. Larranaga's new deal was announced Wednesday by the school. He led George Mason to a surprising Final Four berth in the 2006 NCAA tournament. Larranaga is the Patriots' leader in men's basketball coaching victories with a 246-157 record over the past 13 seasons.
