What's the point of drafting a WR high when Rosen has NO time to throw the ball.
O line should be #1 (LT), #2(LG), #3(C), #4(RG) AND #5(RT) on their list

Cardinals could have Jerry Rice, Randy Moss and Antonio Brown at WR and it wouldn't matter when Rosen is hit after 1.8 seconds as he currently is.

Antoine Wesley can be taken later and might be just as effective for the Cardinal's new offensive scheme Kingsberry plans to run :)

In theory, I don't think ARZ is that far off base. I don't think we need to do it all in the draft but OL needs to get fixed. Optimally, they should add 2-3 guys in FA and then draft a couple.

Not saying the OL isn't an issue but investment doesn't mean instant results. Do not talk my word for it:

It is not like the organization DOESN'T invest resources into the offensive line.

And how is Rosen going to get them the ball with the same O line or even just 1 or 2 different guys? That still leaves 3-4 major holes. There is NO WAY Rosen can even take the time to see his first read. You obviously didn't watch this past season or you'd see Rosen was getting KILLED or had a hand on him before he could even make his first read.
Rosen would take 3 steps back and before he could even set his feet there were 1 or 2 guys already on him.
Football is won in the trenches ...and for the offense their O line is currently ranked the worst in the NFL.
I'll add ...if David Johnson is such a 'major' player, why couldn't he get running in ANY game....a mere 58 yards per game average....
Think that's got anything to do with the O line?
1) QB getting killed EVERY snap
2) RB who was All-Pro now gets 58 yards a game?

To draft a whole offensive line would be the worst strategy ever implemented, especially considering we have a solid center already and holes everywhere.

and you think an all rookie offensive line would fix it? Get outa here with your nonsense hot takes.

Yep, an all-rookie OL would be silly. We need to address the position, but next year we're probably seeing Cole and Pugh no matter what. The other spots are open, but some of that is going to have to come in FA.

Drafting Harry doesn't mean we're ignoring the position.

Patriots have one of the best offensive lines in football. Here are the spots where their linemen were drafted:

3rd, 4th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, undrafted, undrafted, undrafted, and undrafted.

Proof you don't need to spend all of your top draft picks on linemen.

Draft a couple and get some free agents to mix in with what we already have here.

If you can get some big weapons like a hotshot WR - go for it.

This o-line is already improved with Kugler. We will learn a lot about current linemen on this roster very shortly. Kugler has been doing this a very long time. If he says “ hey, I can work with a lot of these guys.” Okay. He may say “ I can work with these 4 or 5 guys but we have to upgrade.” It so hard with what happened last year to evaluate our current stock. That being said I feel a whole lot better in the new system and regime.

IMHO, the only linemen worth anything would be Hump, Cole and Pugh... Cole seems like a very nice snag by Keim. And I don't know what to make of Pugh. I guess if he can somehow stay healthy he can be serviceable at worst. And as for Hump... well, it's show it or blow it time for him.
Otherwise, we need major help across the entire line. That help will have to come via the draft and likely a trade, as from all reports, there are literally no free agents worth a damn this year.

Not all but we've had more 2nd stringers PS and cuts with the same picks and FA's. What other team besides NE does that work for effectively for more then a yr?

Not that long ago I ran the numbers on the top lines in the league and most of the linemen were 3rd round or lower and there were quite a few undrafted players.

Love to see Harry the choice with the Cards #1 pick in the second round. Cards can address OL in free agency and also throughout the draft. IMO take Bosa at #1 and Harry @ #33.

This just proves that Belichick and co.. could coach up an Alliance team and be competitive.
