Cowherd: Arizona has been assembling a decent roster for a few years now, but just now starting to play better, what is the difference?
Fitz: We have a balanced offense for the first time.

Cowherd: The fans in Phoenix were great this week. What did you think of them?
Fitz: They were unbelieveable. They caused three false starts for Seattle and they totally pump us up.

Cowherd: I heard you were a ball boy in Minni when Randy Moss was drafted. What did you think of him, how did he treat ball boys?
Fitz: Moss was great guy. He used to let me drive his BMW before I even had a license. He was always a classy guy to me and my family.

Cowheard: What do you think about the Patriots win this past week?
Fitz: Wow. They totally dismantled a great team. I think only Indy has a chance at knocking them off right now.

Cowherd: What makes Brady so good? He is an average athlete, he was a low round draft pick, what gives?
Fitz: He really understands their offense. Hes had the same coach for his entire career, which helps alot. He also benefits from being surrounded by great players, so he never has to do too much all on his own.

Cowherd: If the Pats are #1 and the Colts are #2, who is the third best team in the league?
Fitz: You have to look at Chicago. They are solid in a lot of areas. The Stealers also look really good this year, but remember, we're only in the second week of the season so a lot still has to be determined.

Cowherd: Where do you rank Arizona?
Fitz: We're definately a top ten team. We feel we have a good chance to win this week, and we will make a lot of noise this year.

Cowherd: I really want Arizona to turn the corner and do well, mainly because I want to retire in Arizona, and I need to know that their will be a legitimate team when I get there. Good Luck Larry
Fitz: Thanks.

That is all....

Call it being a homer....or drinking kool-aid or whatever.....but barring any injuries the cardinals can be a legitiment top ten team. Too much talent on this squad for them to lose 10 games every year.

You have to be a top 10 team to even think about the playoffs. Yes I know top 12 qualifies, but to really be a threat you got to be consistently in the top 3rd of the league.

We have proven the ability to play with anyone (example: Super Bowl runner up Chicago last year).

But we have not shown the ability to consistantly win/finish games (example: Super Bowl runner up Chicago last year).

Larry's agent must have been busy as he was just on 910 a.m. here as well.

Talked about his helmet to helmet hit; said he saw stars and had tingling all over his body - ouch. Said he quickly regained his composure and passed the memory test the training staff gave him and was allowed to go back in to the game.

Couldn't catch the remainder of the interview, darn work.

Being a top ten team would guarentee a playoff spot. I would say atleast eight of the top 12 teams are in the AFC.

Guarantee

Colin Cowherd tried to get Fitz to issue a guarantee that the Cards will make the playoffs, but all Fitz would say is the team will give it a good shot. Or something to that effect.

Say what you will about the Bears but at the moment they are a mere shadow of the team they were last year when we played them.
It's not beyonfd belief that we could be a top 6 team in the NFC. It's to soon to say any 2-0 team is for real or any 0-2 team is done. After 4 games we will have a clearer picture of where we stand.

But, if we go into Baltimore and pull off an upset.......

I think that our next two games may very easily be the toughest of the year for us. I will be glad to be done with them. If we are able to get one win out of the next wo I will bve very excited. I see us beating the Rams both times and taking SF at home. Teams that throw the ball well frighten me though. Carolina wont be fun if we cant handle Smith (who can?) and first the first time in a while Detroit frightens me.
