Larry Fitzgerald Chooses Jersey Number...

Maybe I can get a new "FITZGERALD" to replace the "BLAKE" on the back of my #11 jersey.

Also, I never said Keyshawn lived up to his #1 billing, but he's VERY solid. He catched everything that's thrown at him and is fearless. He's not the WR he once was (or once thought he was).

Keyshawn reminds me a bit of Rob Moore, catches everything thrown to him but always seems to fall down after the catch--his YAC has to be pretty low, I can't remember seeing him outrun anybody. Of course Moore had a better attitude and wasn't full of himself like Johnson its an on the field comparison only.

I always thought Keyshawn Johnson got away with #19 because he was also listed as a PR or a KR for which 19 is allowed. Not sure about that though.


I also find it very ironic that Sect 11 has the same jersey number as the guy he did not want the Cardinals to take.

Sorry but picking the number 11 is far from impressive. I'll wait and see how he performs on the field before we annoint him impressive. The only trend he set was doing something that had already been done by Keyshawn Johnson.

He did not pick 11 to start a trend. He had to pick that number because there are no 80's numbers available.

A Couple Thoughts About the Number "11"

First of all, the two "1's" use up less fabric than other numbers; therefore making his jersey a wee bit lighter.

Second - the two "1's" have earned Larry the automatic nickname of:
