I haven’t watched the Suns since Kevin Johnson was the point guard (or the NBA for that matter) is it really that bad? What has he done that is so terrible?

It’s worse than “that bad.” Sarver spends money on players. That can’t be much denied. But, the combination of his unwillingness to spend money at the coaching and management level - which actually means he is against bringing in guys with actual experience and know what the hell they’re doing - along with his inability to stay the hell out of team operations at all levels, is catastrophic...
He has single-handily created a culture of dysfunction that has ruined a once proud and dearly loved franchise.
This isn’t a matter of “want to” or desire to win... The issue with Sarver is TOO MUCH desire, coupled with his massive short-comings related to leadership and management. There are some close similarities to Jerry Jones here...

This is a nice reminder that just because someone is bad at their job doesn’t mean they are a bad person.

I really hate the way Sarver is doing his job.

I hear that Brandon Williams is a really nice guy. Also, not so sure Sarver really is a good person. Larry is just very loyal and defending a friend

Fitz is a bright guy, he realizes staying in the good graces of prominent guys in the business community like Sarver will probably make him more money over the next 20-30 years than football ever did.
Following the Magic Johnson blueprint.

+1. I used to love watching the Suns when JC owned the team. Went to multiple games. They were my favorite team to watch in person. The crowds were electrifying. Since Sarver took over it seemed like a completely different team. I tried to follow for a while but they became unwatchable.

Well first off you missed a great era of basketball with Nash and yes the organization is really that bad. Think Browns equivalent for the NBA.

The Suns make this year's Cardinals look like a top team. If the Suns were an NFL team right now, they'd lose to the Cards by 30+ points.

I just grew bored with basketball as I got older.

Sad to hear what has happened to the organization.

Sorry but I’m not sure that’s even possible. Our O couldn’t put up 30 on some D1 college defenses.

Fitzgerald should really not stick up for scumbags like Robert Sarver.

Fitz would do well to distance himself from the most hated owner in the Valley, lol.

Nobody has it worse than me when it comes to sports as both my favorite NBA and NFL teams have incompetent idiots as owners.
