They are working on it guys, just have patience...here is what the tech guy just said:

"The "Last unread post" was fixed on some other community of ours. I want to wait until tommorow (14 hours from now) to see if we get positive feedbacks. If we do, this fix (along with some others) will be deployed."

The email notification stuff should hopefully be fixed.

Now this is something that I've had trouble with for a few months, so it's not this changeover -- about half the time when I try to insert an image or link using the little icons, nothing happens, and it won't work. Has anyone else had that problem, or am I just forgetting to do something?

I've had the same problem.... about half the time I have to manually do the image insert.

Well, last post is working, but I'm still having trouble with IMG and link insertions. Like I say, that's not new, but it would be REALLY nice to fix. To me, it's a lot more important than some of the other glitches.

Not sure if this has been brought up (have been off the board), but when I am in one area reading a thread and then try to use the "jump to: forum bottom at the bottom, it takes me to the "No page specified" thing that everyone else was talking about. Is this the same issue or something else?

This sounds like a cache problem. Do you use Firefox or IE 6? I would first try cleaning your cache.

I have IE 7 but I use AOL 9.0. where would I find it to clean out?

Someone else that uses AOL is going to have to help with that one. I have no idea.

I just cleared all my cookies and internet temp files out on IE 7 and was able to insert link/IMG on a test. I'll try a different computer later (where I've had the same issue) before I clean it out -- if it won't bring up the link/IMG balloon until I clean it out too, then it must be the cache; if it works right away, must be something at the tech's end of things. Seems a bit odd it would become a problem at the same time on 2 diff computers -- and I tend to do a lot less browsing on the other one.

Oh drat! That worked on one computer, but on this one it makes no diff. I still can't get the link or image icons to work. (and now I'll have to log in again everywhere... grumble...) Maybe when it worked on the other one it was just random coincidence. I'll have to keep track of this for a few weeks, see if there's a pattern.

Plus I'm having some trouble with the PM notification windows again this evening after 24 hours hassle-free. I am getting immediate email notification though.
