Rd 3: 18(81) Chad Henne QB Mich

Rd 4: 17(116) Tashard Choice RB G. Tech

Rd 5: 14(149) Bruce Davis OLB UCLA

Rd 6: 19(185) Maurice Purify WR Nebraska

Rd 7: 18(225) Digger Bujnoch OT Cin.

I like the last 4 choices. Hate the first 3. Love the 7th rounder just becuase he has a cool name.

Dont like any Michigan QB that has played behind Jake Long. Long has only given up 2 sacks and 2 penalites in four years. None of his QB's have ever even had to worry about a rush or even work on their pocket presence becuase they didnt even need to worry about it.

Exactly, who made this mock draft? Was it a seachickens fan? Whomever did this completely ignores everything that the Cards need and goes for what other teams in the NFC west pray we draft so they can continue to pass on the Cards and keep their safeties back because even if there's a gaping hole, they will only give up 20 yards or less with Edge carrying the ball.

yes they clearly left out one of our biggest needs in a CB. I highly doubt that we get out of the first 3 rounds without a CB.

Boo on their part. Obviously, like a lot of sports news places, they have not done their homework on the Cards.

If that draft they came up with were to actually play out, I'd burn all my Cards memorabilia and sell my loyalty to the highest bidder on ebay.

LOL, Pac-10 Defensive players and Nebraska WR? That would harken back to the days of Boone running the draft. Picks 4 and 5 are OK, but I'd hope to get a RB a bit earlier and definately would want a CB earlier.

Clearly the Cardinals "pre-ranked" their players and then went out to lunch during the Draft..

That is the only way to explain it...

That said I LOVE JAckson in the 2nd round!

Not saying that I would pick Chad Henne in the third round but I think that he would be a good person to add to this team for three reasons -

1. If Matt is a bust
2. Kurt IS getting older
3. Better than Jacques LaBouf (Brian St. Pierre)

Also, if Henne really is available in the third round, he'd be an excellent value pick. Most of the reports say that the race for the #2 QB prospect is relatively even between Henne, Flacco, and Brohm.

joe said it best. You can't trust Henne when he has been sacked from his blindside a total of twice in the 4 years with Long protecting him. Not having to worry about your blindside is a huge luxury that makes it hard to gauge Henne.
