The guy on the list i would like the Cards to take a look at is Billy Miller the TE from Houston.He was pretty productive just a couple yeras ago and that is an area of need for the Cards.

The Cowboys appear to have found just such a player in Tyson Thompson. Amazing, he played in my backyard and I didn't think much of him because SJS was so bad. A lot bigger than Bailey but he's got the quicks and he can catch the ball, he's the kid that lit us up at the end of our first preseason game and apparently he's really wowed Parcells.

The local paper had a big write up on him just this morning. We need to find guys like that. Unheralded players who elevate their games and become solid contributors. That is something that was very rare in Arizona over the past 5 years.

But he is a horrible blocker. He is in that Freddie Jones Category of TE. Thats exactly why he was cut.

I highly doubt we ever bring in a TE who is nothing but a Reciever. Every TE we bring in under Denny will have to at least know what the word blocking means. That is not Miller, IMO.

But if we were looking for a recieving threat, I would be bring him in, in a heart beat.

Do you think Bronson will end up sticking as a project this year? I haven't seen a lot as a blocker from Bergen and Golliday is decent there. Miller would be a nice guy to have in 2 TE sets. We could also run Femi or Hodgins as a TE if needed.

Be nice to find a guy like Johnny Bailey, the former Cards RB/punt returner that went to the Pro Bowl in '92 as the special teams player. Good third down back as well. Was always exciting to watch.
