The NCAA basketball transfer portal window closes Tuesday.
Tennessee has five remaining scholarships to make 2025-26 roster additions from the transfer portal or high school prospects.
The Vols have Felix Okpara, J.P. Estrella, Cade Phillips and Bishop Boswell returning from its 2024-25 basketball roster. Tennessee's 2025 signing class consists of forward DeWayne Brown, small forward Amari Evans, point guard Troy Henderson and power forward Nate Ament. Tennessee's two current additions from the transfer portal include former Maryland guard Ja'Kobi Gillespie and former Vanderbilt forward Jaylen Carey.
Below are prospects to monitor for Tennessee with the NCAA transfer portal closing Tuesday.
Rice played with Gillespie on Maryland's "Crab Five" team that made the Sweet 16 in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. He averaged 13.8 points per game, while shooting 37.4 percent in three-point attempts.
