Realistically NO ONE! Your not gonna get value out of Diaw even if you could dump him and Barbs is a great contract and can be our SG for years to come. Silly thread.

Diaw for Lowry and Collins from Grizz. With Conley and Critteton at the 1, they don't really need Lowry. Also, Diaw would be a very good facilitor for their offense. Ivaroni knows how to use him.

Barbosa for Haywood from Wizards. Arenas may be leaving they need another scorer at the 1/2 spot.

Yeah, but I bet they would sure like their lottery pick back. And having a passing big man is nothing to scoff at.

And atlanta messages boards feel the hawks may pass on re-signing childress.

I'm sure some think this would be the about the stupidest thing the Suns could do, but I've thought maybe they should try to buy low on Zach Randolph. I would imagine New York would gladly take Diaw for him, since they were willing to take Bobby Simmons and Dan Gadzuric at the trade deadline but were turned down by the Bucks. He obviously has a ton of talent, and while he has had some bad moments, he's been on teams that were dysfunctional to start with. When he was young, Rasheed Wallace had a reputation similar to Randolph's now, and once Wallace matured he turned into a great player. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same thing happen with Randolph. He would have to accept coming off the bench, but if he did and got serious about basketball he would be great in D'Antoni's system.

A) Randolph is crazy

B) We already have a power forward and do not have enough minutes for him.

C) His style is pretty much the exact opposite of the suns. He is a black hole, has poor court vision, and is slow.

D) He would be coming off the bench. Zero predictability as to how he would react to that.

That's four strikes off the top of my head.

The only way we get anything for Diaw that isn't considered a "bad contract" is if we throw in Barbosa and ATL pick. Giving up cheat assets is the only way you get rid of someone with negative trade value. These scenarios are delusional at best.

Trade Atlanta's first plus Diaw to move up in the draft. Maybe get a top-10 pick.
