That's Mr. Riff-Raff to you!
I think signing Dansby is a no brainer at this point.
This, if the price is right.

we cant afford him

The financial shuffle helped and Dwash having so many problems made it happen. Back then it made no sense, Today it makes all the sense in the world.I felt strongly back on April 3rd that LB Dansby would be back on the Cardinals radar and it appears that could be the case with him in town to visit the Cardinals today
Go Cardinals!

Big Red- I cant argue that , who knew of the Mike Tyson/ Robin Givens like saga DWash would get into
With all that is going on with DWash right now it might be a very good idea to sign this guy for 2 years. The first year would be to cover as the starter than depth once DWash gets back and the second year would be insurance for them to have time to groom the next young guy in case the whole DWash situation ends up with serious jail time.Mike Jurecki @mikejurecki
Karlos Dansby recently visited Buffalo but the two sides couldn't reach an agreement, hearing Dansby is looking for more then a one yr deal.

Seems like a risk worth taking to me..The issue then is special teams. Your depth linebackers HAVE to play on the return units. Looking at the NFL Media snap counts, Dansby was in on about 11% of Miami's special teams snaps, which looks like FG block units to me.
Looks like Brinkley only played FG block teams, as well. That leaves only Minter and Reggie Walker to contribute from that unit.
Don't like the bad karma with Dansby either. The Cardinals payed him top LB money (franchise tag) for two years and gave him lucrative contract offers. He didn't want to stay in AZ (he bolted the first chance he got)---even going as far as saying the Dolphins showed him the love he wanted, when the Cardinals had offered a similar deal.
The reality is there is no more Dolphin love for Dansby.
Now he's out of a job (and he wants to come back?)---boo hoo. Let him play somewhere else.

Never mind that the Cards ran off almost every player that contributed to the SB run. 5-11 every year. Tough for you fans, boo hoo if you don't like it. If you don't like being a fan of one of the worst teams in NFL history go be a fan of another team.
Sounds great doesn't it?
Good Grief! 5-11 four times in the last 8 years? That's ridiculous. Maybe we should re sign Dansby and fire the Bidwills.
But, for some reason, people were glad to see our best defensive player wak away for nothing and then have Graves turn around and give a similar deal to Stewart Bradley.
How about HALF.
Come on, he did a great sack dance! For about an eighth of the player! What a deal!

Ha, touche. The only memorable moment of the entire Stew Bradley era.
Stewart Bradley, Kevin Kolb, Adam Snyder, Daryn Colledge. Ridiculous contracts and major contributors to losing 15 of 18 and 11 of 12. And why Rod Graves and Ken Whisenhunt no longer work for the Cardinals.
Perfect examples of why posters who claim we arm chair QBs aren't as smart as the coaches/front office aren't always correct.
You can add Todd Heap to that list. Beyond ridiculous. That dude didn't even play. For the money we paid him and the roster spot he wasted, we could have paid anyone to contribute. Heap actually had a negative impact on our team.
