After catching the disgraceful game known as game 5. I came to realise something.

Phoenix have only lead 4 times in the 2nd half of the 5 games

And our biggest lead of the series has been 7. And we lost that game.

This team needs to take a lead going into the half!! I'm sick of watching catch-up basketball. It's very frustrating. Let's face it, we were lucky in game 1, should've won game 2, were disgraced in game 3 and scraped out game 4.

Perhaps we should try getting a rhythm going early. Try and get some easy shots. Easier said than done I know, but what happened to iso's and switches. These seem to happen to us all the time on defense. Isolate Penny or Amare in the post, the double will come, then kick it out and swing it. In every single game we have come out looking like **** in the 1st quarter. The Spurs haven't been under any pressure, because they get up by double digits, and then relax.

We need to come out smokin' in game 6 to have any chance. Because if we go down by double digits in the 1st half, there's no way we will be coming out with a win. The Spurs will go for the jugular.

Never-the-less, it was good to see the Suns actually make the playoffs, and show the fans that we are going in the right direction, and we are putting the pieces together. No one expected us to make it, but we're there, and we've taken the best team in the league to 6 games. Amare's shown us that with a bit of weight lifting, a jumpshot and free-throw work, we will have the next KG (And we're not done with the old one yet) And this one's got the support cast to go somewhere.

GO SUNS!

5 bad shooting games in a row is no fluke. The Spurs play great defense and we don't have different offense game plans other than letting Marbury create. FJ should try something new, post up Penny, feed Marbury off dribble, have Marion come off a pick instead of let him standing at corner all game, bring in Googs for his outside shooting when nobody can buy a shot. If all of those don't work, it is still fine coz we would be shooting 35% anyway unless Marbury having a 40 pt game.

I know asking them to beat the 1st seeded team is too much. But after stealing Game 1 like that, I just become greedy and want miracle to happen for this team.

I think that's asking a little much of Frank Johnson. As far as I can tell the only adjustment he's made in this series is not to double team Tim Duncan on every single Spurs possession. They still do it 75% of the time, but changing that strategy 25% of the time was a major adjustment for him.

The Suns have done a good job overall defensively against San Antonio. The problem has obviously been the offense, or lack thereof. If they come out tomorrow giving up inside position to Rose and Robinson on the defensive end and standing around watching Marbury on the other end I will be very upset.

I'm going to the game tomorrow, and I don't even want a good one. I would just like to watch the Phoenix Suns blowout San Antonio. They need to come out of the gate with the same intensity they had in the second half. Marbury and Amare cannot (for his get to them. It may be justified, but they've been complaining a little too much.
