Besides Selig being involved w/ the Brewers, what is the rationale for the imbalance?
The Brewers should go back to the AL Central, and the Royals should be in the AL West.

I could be wrong but I think Milwaukee wanted the revenues related to being in the same division as the Cubs.

Having a odd number of teams in each league does not work, unless you had interleague play all year long.

Kansas City was given the choice to go to the NL first, they declined. The Brewers jumped at the chance.

16 & 14 - you have to have an even # in each league to balance the schedule out.

KC is in the Central time zone & if they played in the West, their games would be aired 2 hrs later than normal. That would suck. Texas already was bitching about being in the AL W & the time zone difference

so some teams would play others one less time in a year.
It just seems like an abuse of Selig's power.
