Will there be a Bob Uecker tribute at the Brewers' home opener?

Brewers icon Bob Uecker, the team's voice for over 50 years who died in mid-January at 90, will be commemorated at the home opener in numerous ways.

The team will carry a reminder of Uecker with them every time they take to the field this season. For all games in 2025, a gold and navy plaid print patch featuring Uecker's signature will adorn the Brewers' uniform sleeves. The plaid is a nod to some of the iconic sports coats Uecker wore early in his broadcasting career.

The home opener will feature Uecker's signature on the outfield grass, a moment of silence and other special moments throughout the game.

The Brewers are working with the Uecker family to host a public "day of celebration" later in the summer. A permanent "Uecker Experience" is also in the works at the ballpark.

What's new at American Family Field this season?

New food and drink offerings are coming to American Family Field in 2025 alongside returning ballpark favorites.

J. Leinenkugel's Barrel Yard will have several new offerings, including specialty flatbreads.

Concession stands around the stadium are introducing the Chicken Cordon-Brew sandwich, Maxie's Spicy Southern chicken sandwich, Enchilada Dog, Bases Loaded Potato Dog and Smokin' Gouda Burger.

Maxie's Club Level will debut Chicken and Andouille Jambalaya, Maxie's Creole Chicken Sandwich and a passion fruit and rum Hurricane Cocktail.

"The Alley" Food Truck Park is also coming to American Family Field this season. It will feature four food trucks serving local, nontraditional ballpark fare.

Chuchos Red Tacos will offer birria tacos, burritos, quesitacos and churros. Hidden Kitchen MKE will serve grilled ham and cheese, a Cubano sandwich, Reuben rolls and a steak sandwich. Nadi Plates offers parmesan truffle fries, pepperoni or sausage calzones and a hot Italian beef sandwich. Baron's Gelato has a variety of gelato flavors.
