Yes, thank you for your service and please stay safe.

Hey if there is anything your group needs, please let us know the best way to donate.

Bill Lewis (fomer AZ center, former Radio host, current color analyst) was always great in supporting the troops. He used to host his radio show at Jilly's and anyone that brought stuff for the troops got a free lunch.

AZCards21 and I went there a couple of times and were happy to donate razors and baby wipes and jolly ranchers and stuff. The only thing I am concerned about (and I don't know if this is true or just a rumor) is that the initial receiving folks pick out the best stuff and it doesn't always get to the front lines.

If there is a preferred organization that supports your group, let us know the link.

What Brian said.

On the upside Year 1 isn't year 5. Keep your head down, mind indirect fire and shape charges.

Believe in the armor you've got.

See you in a year, tops.

Stay in touch.

Thank you for you're service. Though many Americans take what you and your fellow soldiers are sacrificing for us for granted, there are still many of us who really appreciate what you're doing. Stay safe and I look forward to a thread announcing your safe return.

Hey Tom,

Be careful over there, and make sure when you get back you & your brother either get out to Arizona for the NFL draft or a game, just like old times....Take care & God Bless.

Maybe a tour in The Suck will grow you a pair, so next time you see me you'll actually introduce yourself!

I kid, I kid!

Good luck bro...take care of yourself, do your job right, and get back here in one piece...you still owe me a beer!

I should be ok. With the new security agreement, we aren't allowed to go out in sector much anymore so all I really have to worry about is a bunch of bored infantryman causing trouble.

We're going to be at VBC which is massive, and my unit is going to go to a nice spot on VBC. Not looking for much action, just want to keep everyone safe and come back with all of our guys alive (we lost 5 guys last time on a 15 month deployment). I know the guys from 5th Brigade are getting hammered in Afghanistan, they lost like 7+ in the last few weeks. Pray for them, they're fighting a nasty war over there in which we're not doing too well at :(

Is that the new name for Camp Victory?

Or is that what was known as the Green Zone? I can't imagine we are still in the Green Zone.

Victory. No US Troops in the Green Zone anymore.

The magazine advice is definitely good advice, I've heard that from a lot of people. Units are just too cheap to replace old magazines, and take the ones they had in garrison to Iraq with them. I know our armorer bought a bunch of new mags just for Iraq.

I'm an S-2 guy, so I won't really have to go out in sector luckily.

Would it be possible for one of us who has the capability to record each game to a DVD, do so that we can send Krang a copy of the game? I would gladly contribute towards the cost and all this would depend if it's okay with Krang. I do pray for the safety of our troops but if we could bring a little bit of home to one of our own, I sure would like to help.

Thanks for your service, Krang. You do something that I could never do; and, for that, I am grateful.
