Well-deserved, certainly not a surprise. But MVP's seem to have a tendency of not doing so well come the Finals. Kobe last year, Dirk a couple years back, Steve Nash (never made it to the finals), KG when he won it, and Allen iverson. I think Duncan was the last MVP winner to actually win the title the same year.

I always felt LeBron was over rated until this year. This year, he showed that he deserves every accolade he's received. He is deserving of the MVP and it's probably the first of many for him. Congrats LeBron!

MVP at 24 years of age is quite an achievement. He's already playing on a different level then everybody else. It'll be interesting to see what he can do within the next decade.

If he stays injury-free, we could witness the era of (one of?) the greatest ever to play the game.
