Cliff Lee pitched two scoreless innings in his first spring start before Luis Valbuena, Robbie Grossman and Marwin Gonzalez homered for the Houston Astros in a 6-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday. Astros starter Collin McHugh pitched two shutout innings. Mark Appel, the first overall pick by Houston in the 2013 draft, gave up one run in two innings in his first appearance against major league hitters.
