ASU hockey improves to 3-4-1 with a much-needed weekend road sweep against Northern Michigan:
Friday: 3-1 ASU
Saturday : 2-0 ASU
Greg Powers' confidence in his goalies was reaffirmed with Gibson Homer's 22-save shutout today and UMass transfer Luke Pavicich's .941 sv% Friday.

ASU is finding out the big step they took this year joining the NCHC. It’s been tough sledding for the boys. I was at the game last night. ASU seems faster and more physical than last year but they lack the offensive power the teams they are facing this year have.
