Really surprising.
No - for signing a washed up bum for 4-5 million more than the market dictated first off. Second for intentionally targeting said bum as his number one target.
We would be far better off signing any of Marvin Jones, TY Hilton, JuJu, Corey Davis, Will Fuller, Curtis Samuel - even if it cost 4 million more a year - because they will actually likely produce and get open.
JuJu Smith Schuster re-signed by Pittsburgh for the same deal cards gave AJ Green.
The odds are against him outproducing most of the other ones. And you know AJ Green won't?
Why does this feel like a situation where we're going to be the losers of the bidding war whether we get the player or not?xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

Gambo has been known to back track from time to time making excuses about being misinformed by his sources. That's interesting. Gambo said Cards had no interest in him. Wonder who is correct.

I don't blame them, they may want info to remain confidential. His sources also use him to make false statements (knowingly or otherwise). His sources use him.
All I know is he didn't get open or produce last season, and he isn't getting any younger, so I don't see why that would change.
I think this is my favorite comment in support of signing him: he’s such a professional he gave up playing hard for the organization which gave him his wealth and decided it was okay to let his teammates down.I think he just got tired of playing for the Bengals & losing every year. I think a change of scenery will do wonders for him.

I wasn’t claiming lack of professionalism, I was laughing that someone made that claim in defense of his play.Or he had a down year with a QB who regularly threw **** passes his way while playing in a new offense to him while trying to shake the rust off.
Most of the great receivers (which Green falls into this camp) are still really good at 32.
Of course it’s entirely possible that said rookie threw all of his terrible passes to AJ and only good ones to the other two receivers who seemed to have decent seasons.Or he had a down year with a QB who regularly threw **** passes his way while playing in a new offense to him while trying to shake the rust off.

That’s bad news. Sorry I’m ragetreeing skyfalling. Just lots of head scratching moves and nonmoves this offseason. Keims the best!xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
