"You're talking about a Cardinals team that's not the Cardinals of old," said Cowboys guard and former Cardinals player Leonard Davis. "People don't understand that. You can't take them lightly."

Was that the case at University of Phoenix Stadium?
"I don't know," Davis said. "I know people (including teammates) asked me about them, and I said the same thing: 'They're not the same Cardinals.' "

holy good god in heaven. if that ain't a sign of how far this team has come, a former player who left on less than stellar terms says that about us... gosh-darnit, this team better not fall on it's face after this game. I expect a loss against Carolina - that's a tough roadie, but with the Rams and Niners up after that, we should be no worse than 6-3 after 9 games.

Maybe the 25 yards in penalties in back to back plays effectively killing a Dallas drive got to Mr. Davis. He didn't look like a pro-bowler today.

I dunno, even bad Cards teams have won in Carolina. We'll see. 3 divisional games come back to back to back right after that, so this should be a fun month and a half before thanksgiving!

I saw the Tampa Bay-Carolina early game Sunday. I am very, very happy we are playing Carolina instead of Tampa Bay. The Bucs have the type of defense that gives us fits, the Panthers not so much. This is a very winnable game, especially with two weeks to prepare. This will be a test of whether the Cardinals can play well on the road. With Q back, they better open up the play book.

Remember how flat we were last year after the bye? Panthers are somewhat lucky to be 4-2 as they coulda shoulda lost at SD and Bears.

Word on the street is Davis is dreaming of being a Cardinal again and could not concentrate on blocking anybody yesterday

Love the comments by Leonard. Too bad Pace couldn't say the same. Football is an emotional game and it always sucks being on the losing end.

One of the reasons "these aren't the same old Cardinals" is because Davis doesn't play here anymore.:clapping:

Screaming at the top of my lungs for Davis to go have sex with himself was one of the highlights of my Sunday.

Wonder how it makes him feel knowing that the man who changed the team here's first move was to get rid of him?

It seems the Cowboys have adopted the Cardinals "pre-Grimm" theory of O-Lines. "Bigger is Better".

We all know how the Big Red Line failed. Looks like the Cowboys didn't learn from our mistakes.

Also I'd take Davis over Lutui at guard any day of the week.
