First off... Big proved to me last night that he is a lazy player, but he also proved that he can dominate. His domination only started AFTER he got fired up because of his mistakes. He got schooled and abused and it wasn't until he got frustrated and traded blows with a 49er that he picked up his game and shut down the pass rush. He was also very late in coming across to block, but magically he was able to do it after his complete meltdown

So it this a coaching issue or is this all on LD??

Both...LD is mentally lazy and the coaches should recognize it and try to do something that fires him up.

Oh, and he should be a guard.

lol...whatever happened to the ole days when the coach would tell the player that the other team was making fun of his mother and that player would get fired up?

I guess I've been watching too much waterboy on tbs...

McGuire broke it down nicely on the fumble. Big had almost an impossible assignment if you watch the tape.

I am known to be a Big jocker, but I will admit he missed a couple of assignments. I'll do a tape review and drop some numbers soon. BTW Clement looked awful.

Somebody ought to ask the poor 49ers who had to line up opposite BIG last night if he thinks LD is lazy. LD was tossing them around like a mobil home in a tornado.

Davis has to be one of the largest football players in the NFL. Every player who stands next to him looks like a little kid.
