All it takes is money to set you free in most instances. Look at the Koby Bryant fiasco. When that first happened I said he would get off because he was rich enough to buy his way out. Michael Jackson will most likely buy his way out again. Maybe he gets probation if they find him guilty. Mean while the average Joe gets convicted and locked up for years on whatever charge he gets. The prison system is full all across America of the poor and middle class people.

IMO, his acquittal seem to be the result of an ill-informed idiotic cop who seemed to be more interest in acquiring fame, rather than properly enforcing the law.

Once he realized that it was Leonard Little, he should have paid more attention to the law because he knew Little had money to hire excellent lawyers.

If any of us who don't have money on the board we would not have the oppurtunity to have a 2nd DUI, we would be rotting in Prison.

Actually there is a lot of regular Joes out there who have had been charged with multiple DUI's that are not sitting in prision. You would be surpised at how many people actually get off even without a high priced lawyers. A lot of times the arresting officer didnt do the field sobriety test correctly or the officer had a partner who had a different account of the story just like the Little case or on some other technicallity. I did a paper on it in college for a humanities class, cant remember the exact numbers but they were pretty big.

Now the Laws may have changed from 6 years ago but the numbers were crazy back then.

I don't doubt your numbers, but we're talking about a guy who already KILLED a woman while driving drunk. The average joe would still be in prison. Little got a slap on the wrist and is so thoughtless and uncaring that he'd drink and drive again. He is a piece of crap.

exactly - what is everyone up in arms about - you'd think they were in the courtroom for the entire trial! When did the American become judge, jury and executioner without having any knowledge or hearing arguments or evidence presented in court? Sheesh.
