Of course this is what it's all about. This is a standard negotiating tactic anymore. Peterson and Jones did it recently. Players on almost every team across the league do it.I was thinking this is what this could all be about if he is not getting the extension this off-season.
Otherwise this media stuff is easily forgettable.
OU guys in the final year of their contract thing as well.Of course this is what it's all about. This is a standard negotiating tactic anymore. Peterson and Jones did it recently. Players on almost every team across the league do it.
Kyler has gotten so much attention because he is a star QB in the NFL (please Stout and cheese and others... I didn't say "great" about his play. I said "star" because he is highly visible and promoted as such by the NFL) so gets so much attention because of that. Throw in the fact that this happened when the fan base has never been more disappointed in his play and you get the perfect **** storm that we have seen.
I don't know about that. The league is flooded with mediocrity and crap at that position.A lot of this just seems like piling on, at this point. I don't know who it benefits. Certainly not the fans. Even if you want to see Kyler gone, all of this talk has to be sinking his trade value.

huh? I've said repeatedly that out of the three K's, Kyler is the one we have to keep because he's still got the highest upside and that ALL of this lands at the feet of MillerKeim (I mean.. it really lands at Michael's feet but there's no getting rid of that family, unfortunately).Of course this is what it's all about. It is even funnier watching so many attempt to make excuses for Kyler by tearing down other QB’s like Burrow. Or single game QB ratings of Tom Brady. It is hysterical to be honest.I know I joked about it earlier but I continue to think it's funny that people are more concerned about Kyler deleting pics than they were about Joe Burrow deleting LOTS of posts off his social media when he was at LSU because he was a Heisman candidate and people started uncovering all sorts of offensive stuff he'd posted, admittedly as a kid, on social media.
But I guess it's because we're Cards fans and Kyler is the Cards qb so we're more concerned about his actions than someone on another team trying to hide offensive stuff he posted before he was famous.
No, I'm right there with you. He's nowhere near the top, but he's at the top of the second tier. I may bang on him for just putting up stats and nothing more, but that's a lot better than not doing anything AND putting up bad stats like many starting QBsOf course this is what it's all about. Oh please. You pointed it out and indicated it is funny people care more about KM and what he did vs. Burrow. What is going on with KM has absolutely nothing to do with Burrow. You didn’t bring up Brady but it is in this thread.Who is tearing down Burrow, I merely pointed out that he deleted a ton of social media posts while at LSU because he'd gotten famous and didn't want them getting out because he thought they'd make him look bad. And nobody seems to remember it even happened because nobody made a big deal out of it, they let him mature and now they love him.
In like a week it's been Murray is demanding a new contract, no he's demanding a trade, no he's mad at the Cardinals. It's VERY clear nobody on here actually knows why Murray did it, but because he's our QB, everyone is still going on and on about it. 76 pages of it so far.
To my knowledge I haven't mentioned Brady in this thread once.
Im sure he does, but he doesnt deserve it and there's no urgency to do soDo we know if Kyler Murray has an issue with the Cardinals waiting until 2023 to extend him?
Ok. My bad.huh? I've said repeatedly that out of the three K's, Kyler is the one we have to keep because he's still got the highest upside and that ALL of this lands at the feet of MillerKeim (I mean.. it really lands at Michael's feet but there's no getting rid of that family, unfortunately).
Kyler is a star. He also was incredible the first half of the season, then middling to flat out bad to end the season and humiliated himself with his putrid performance in the playoffs. please don't put words in my mouth or connect me to arguments I never made moving forward.

Incredibly bad takeThis is so stupid, key point we were losing badly with ZERO chance of doing anything, so what’s the point? Just imagine he goes in and takes a hit or makes a move wrong and ACL or something. Then all you crybaby’s would be like why the hell was he even in when the game was long over, blah blah blah. Get over it not the first QB not to finish a blowout geesh.
Nope, but DA's silence is also a byproduct of the Suns's culture and how it's about the team first before the individual. These are my feelings. Deandre Ayton didn't raise a fuss about it.

As far as I'm concerned James Jones is a God compared to Keim. Good leadership doesn't let a story get out that your most important player is an immature cry baby. Keim is a clown and that's why they're stuck in this mess.It all starts with hiring the right GM who hires the right people to build a winning culture.
The Cardinals can get there but I'm not sure if they have the right pieces in place at the top.
