Sure a lot of speculation, but Murray fed the media monster. Maybe he isnt smart enough to know that the media would've caught on to this and blew it out of proportion, but now it's an unnecessary distraction.

Lamar Jackson has a more pressing contract situation, but you barely hear about it because he keeps his mouth shut.
How has he fed the media monster? Hasn't said a word or made a comment. lol

Never saw that. Didn’t realize his study habits were questioned going into the draft. That only serves to support his idiotic comment about not watching film 24 hours a day. Plenty of time for him to turn the ship around, but he’s got to look inside himself and find the drive to do so.

When every major sports network is talking about it yes. That's how it works when sports networks are saying things about you that aren't accurate. You correct them, in this case he could do it in a 5 second tweet.

When Schefter announced Brady's retirement it took Tom about 10 minutes to say "Hold on guys, I haven't decided anything yet".

If Sports networks were saying Kyler had a falling out with Hopkins or something else that wasn't true you would expect him to correct the record right?
Every major sports network as well as major media is always repeating BS that they routinely make up. He is under no obligation to say anything to anybody and I'm glad he feels that way. Some time back the public decided that everybody's business was everybody's business and that is BS. He doesn't owe anybody anything but certain people think he does. It's a nosiness that needs to end.

You actually don't have to speculate about anything. Kyler, or his new social media team, wiped ALL of his old photos from Instagram. It wasn't specific to the Cardinals. He didn't unfollow the Cardinals. There is zero indication he's unhappy with the Cardinals. Fans and media hyperventilating over a non-event is not really his responsibility to address. He's probably laughing at all the nonsense.
Then he and his team are idiots for not coming out and addressing it. If he’s laughing at something that’s making his fans mad he’s a bigger idiot than I have him credit for.

It's worse in PFF grade, PFF ranking, DVOA and any other metric you can use to measure O line performance.

They allowed 171 pressures and 25 TFL's vs our 150 and 12.

It's definitely worse.
There’s no doubt it’s worse

Problem is Kyler and Kliff combo may have peaked under Keim's reign. And Bidwill is not getting rid of Keim anytime soon. I honestly fear Keim would hire a worse coach. His strength is making good trades so get what you can for Kyler if comes to it.

His agent leaked to Schrager that he blew off the interview with one of the lower teams drafting. Cardinals interview he took serious. Not very mature. However, apparently was to a team drafting in the teens.
PFF lol.. and kyler hides a ton of this lines deficiencies w his athleticism
Joe Burrow won a playoff game with a 28 QBR. He's very impressive and I hope he beats the Rams. However, his defense won a playoff game for him. Burrow may indeed be the new Brady of the young QBs. I think its wrong to paint the picture thats its all him right now.

How has he fed the media monster? Hasn't said a word or made a comment. lol

I mean, if someone wants to give up a top 3 pick in this draft and two more firsts....I'd listen. Especially if he is playing games.
I'd agree. Only Kyler's camp and the Cardinals know for sure what is going on here but if this is some passive aggressive negotiation tactic I'd be open to conversations. It's fine if he thinks he deserves a new deal now but playing games like this (if that is what is going on) just further reiterates a complete lack of maturity on his part (going along with his body language on the sidelines, his overconfidence regarding study habits) and his decline in performance the last two years after getting knicked up. There is no way the Cards should give him a new deal right now even if that means paying more next year. Cincy has now proved you are 2-3 years away from reaching the top if you have the right guy at the helm.

I still think Kyler has the physical tools to be as great as he already thinks he is but he needs to stop playing games and put in the work. It worries me that the day after the Pro Bowl he is seemingly more worried about getting paid than he is about getting into the film room and understanding what went wrong.

I dont think any of his fans are mad about this. He has done absolutely nothing wrong. People who are getting themselves worked up and calling him names over a completely fake story are not his fans.

Yes, this is picking up steam all over. Including lots of speculation as to where he might go. Tampa, Denver etc. It is certainly not nothing and, in my opinion, real bad form after the way the season ended. KM was part of a pretty bad collapse. Instead of getting mad and determined to come back and get things right, we get another whining fit. Or at least that is what it appears to be.
Agreed

Brady responded because Schefter had just scooped his planned announcement, and the issue was REAL!

Scrubbing your online presence and an issue that could cause friction with a teammate and by extension, the team is a very, very different thing to my mind.

A good chance this is about money. This is about Kyler's agent not getting an enthusiastic response about getting a extension now and nor should he if Kyler wants some cap space to win and frankly winning would jump his stock up more if he has the goods. At the moment, this seems like the new way this generation makes 'a statement'. I support Kyler the QB and still think he can be a good long term QB, but this regardless of the intent, makes me as a fan think it's very childish or rather high schoolish and he's no longer going to get any lee way from me the next time he goes on a slump regardless of the legit reasons concerning the talent which might be around him
My current stance... Kyler, stop acting like a little ****** because this is a sport for grown arse men

I think it’s 50-50. He helps the line with his eacapability but he also hinders the line when he tries to escape by running backwards right into sacks.
Their playmakers ability to generate explosive plays make up for it. However, is our line that much greater?

Jonah Williams 77.5
DJ 67.8

Quinton Spain 72.3
Justin Pugh 66.4

Trey Hopkins 51.4
Rodney Hudson 60.9

Jackson Carman 56.3
Max Garcia 56.3

Kelvin Beachum 63.4
Isaiah Prince 58

Imo the advantage Burrow has over Kyler is avoiding the play that kills a drive.

Don’t forget Tyler Boyd. He’s a stud and better than any WR not named Hopkins on our team as well. Mixon is an outstanding dual threat - yes better than Conner
I always chuckle at how people ignore this.

With no Hopkins
Jamar Chase 83.1
Christian Kirk 72.7

Tee Higgins 84.5
AJ Green 69.2

Tyler Boyd 72.6
Antoine Wesley 60.9

Zach Ertz 66.9
CJ Uzomah 62

And before people say PFF, blah blah blah. They also agree Burrow is the best QB. However, his weapons non Hopkins are much better as well. Maybe Kyler makes them worse, maybe its the scheme. Either way their playmakers seems to be better than ours.

And when you have a NFL play calling scheme… w WRs that get amazing separation. Ya - that makes a massive difference. At this point I hope he does want out and gets traded.
