Keim tried to put pieces around Kyler to help him succeed. He even drafted Kyler's hand-picked receiver in Moore, got him a big receiver in A.J. and a solid center in Hudson. Add in James Conner and the supporting cast eas decent but not elite. When Conner was productive, Kyler had a decent ground game to take off some of the pressure.
Yeah Keim does a lousy job with the draft, but I think he did a decent job last off-season putting together a competitive roster. The disastrous finish is more on the coaches and their inability to adjust and overcome critical injuries IMO.
