I don't think that just having a great QB would turn the current guys into Super Bowl contenders. What they need is a dominant force on defense. A guy who could make plays and improve the play of the guys around him. Somebody the opposing offenses would have to scheme for on every play.

Somebody like Derrick Brooks or Michael Strahan.
