I think after last night, all references to JJ and the word "superstar" should be tabled for quite some time. Lebron James put on a "superstar" level display last night...someone who takes a team on their back and wills them to win.

We have exactly one player who does that, Amare. When Amare fouled out, we really had no one assertive enough to weather James' storm.

JJ can certainly become a star...but I don't see him having a "superstar" mentality.

chris, jj isnt a superstar and i for one have never said or hinted that he was but, he is something that maybe equally important for the success of this team. he can creat his own shot and has the ability to be the second main scorer on the team behind amare.

every player is intitled to have one bad game every once in a while. jj has done everything of late (except last night) that the team has need him to do.

I have never seen anyone on this site refer to JJ as a superstar.
I will agree with you that James is going to be one.

Last night JJ played 42 minutes, was 7-14, 3-5 in 3 pointers, 3 rebounds, one assist, and 17 points. Not too bad.

Is someone saying he had a bad game last night??

The suns were up by 19 at the start of the 4th quarter, they should have won and JJ was one of the guys helping them.

Amare fouling out hurt a lot, but they still should have won the game.

If the game would have been in Phx. Lebron James would not have done as well and would have had a couple more fouls called on him, and Amare would not have fouled out.........=suns win.

Real tough loss, but do not worry about JJ, he is and will continue to do a great job for this team.........!!!

JJ will always be like Pippen was to Jordan. A very good, if not great, player who gets his 15-20 a night and compliments the superstar.

Perhaps LeBron James and Jeff McInnis will get called for a carry outside of Cleveland - even a handcheck about on every single player of theirs :D
