That IS a bummer. I got a taste of what the off-season will be like this weekend. I logged a bunch of time watching past NFL "competitions" (QB challenge, Lineman challenge, Defender challenge, etc...)

Tha alone is worth the switch from cable.

We have cox here in Vegas too and they are awful. Charge to much, not enough channels.

Switch to satelite!

I have had Cox Cable, Comcast cable, TCI cable, Dish Network and DirectTV. Hands down the best is DirectTV

I just upgraded to HDTV with my Direct and do those games broadcast in HDTV ever look awsome.

advice

Get DirecTV. Repeat. Get DirecTV. Preferably with the TiVo/DVR so you can pause or rewind games to take another look at a blown call by the officials without waiting for the Fox/CBS truck to run a replay. That is all.

My husband talked me into DirectTv -- I thought it was a bit more expensive than cable. We got it with the Tivo system.

Now I'll never go back to anything else. If it wasn't for football, we'd never watch live television. And it has a wonderful instant replay button on your remote -- now, when the ref calls offsides on the offense (like they did a lot against the Panthers in the Rams game), I can review it at slow speed -- and PROVE the refs are biased!
