Who would you bring in that can convince a FA to come here? It would be great to have Horton but he won't instill confidence in offensive players and thats where we need the help. Fitz wont hard sell anyone because he will have no history with the new coach unless it were Haley and that wont happen. If Horton got the nod who could he bring to run the O that would give someone confidence in our ability to turn it around? We need new QBs, OL help and RB help. This is a serious rebuilding project that wont get done in one year.

Graves too.

Find a GM, start early, hire them early, let them decide who stays, who goes, only sane way to do this thing.

How the GM runs the place will determine who might or might not come here.

I'm not sure who I'd like at GM, but I would LOVE for us to get O'Brien (sp?) of Penn State. If there's anyone who can find and develop a QB, it's him. Many questioned how much he helped Brady. Yeah, he made Matt friggin' McGloin into a star college QB. Anyone that can manage that miracle can choose and help develop a QB for my pro team!

Of course, for me, this would be bad, because I'm such a Penn State fan, and I really want him to stay.

An offensive guru who has the common sense that it all starts with the OL. Our pick this year should provide us with a HofF type OG or OT. I think the QBs will drop into the 2nd round this year. Plus I would rather us get a Rivers or Smith (or Romo if that would materialize some how) for a few years. I don't think we need to give up a 1st rounder for any of them if they come on the block. My order of preference would be Romo, Smith, then Rivers. Not Vick at all due to us already having an injury prone QB. Heck, come to think about it, I would have rather had Josh McCown this year at QB.
