Duck---the Cardinals do have talent, albeit not roster balanced and appropriately positioned talent---but we won't see the true value of that talent until they are coached properly---that is, if they haven't already been ruined by the current coaching staff. These Cardinals are tremendous under-achievers.

I don't see it. They have one superstar in Fitz who unfortunately is easily shut down because his supporting cast is so weak. Dockett is 30 and also too easily shut down for the same reason. Wilson isn't close to the player he was even just two years ago.

There just aren't any players other than Fitzgerald and maybe Dockett that other teams are concerned with on the current roster and we for certain don't have anyone on defense that can disrupt an opponents offense.

C'mon guys----Whiz will coach them up-----He even said so in his weekly presser after the Viking's loss. He said we made some mistakes out there and he was going to work on them. I believe that he will fix things. After all, he has never given us reason to believe he's not on top of things.

Now, if Whiz could just get Rod Graves to give him the players he really wanted-----there are literally dozens of ex-Steelers sitting at home, languishing in retirement, that already know the system, and Whiz won't even have to coach them up. That's the problem when your GM keeps bringing in new people who don't know the system.

P{hilly fans would be as happy to give you Reid as they were to give us Kolb. They may be complete aholes, but they know a bit about football. Reid wont take this team anywhere. Hes just like CKW. Fisher is such a bore, and could never get over the hump.

We need to stop going after re treads who have proven only enough to be considered better than what we have already. We need to go for the best, or take a shot at finding someone who can prove they are the best

This board constantly talks about bringing in re tread players, yet everyone wants a re tread coach. Makes no sense!

One man's retread coach is another man's experienced coach. There is no one single right way. Bringing in an experienced Head Coach is often the right move. If you can find a good young position coach that's ready for the next step, great, but many of them fall flat on their face. And when they do fall, it's often much further than the "re tread" will fall. For every Tomlin that wins it all you've got a Belichick or a Coughlin getting there on a second chance (or 3rd chance etc).

I don't have a problem with trying to identify new talent and giving the guy a chance but for our organization it's probably an even riskier PR move than it is for most teams. You know that if it happens and the guy falters even a step we're going to be bombarded with comments about how the only reason we went for a new guy was because the Bidwills are so cheap. They'll completely ignore the fact that Whiz is one of the better paid coaches.
