Ok, I like Limp Bizkit. But after listening to the older cd's, I have to say I miss that guitar guy that left. He jammed, the new cd is good, but doesnt seem to have that same edge. My favorite cd is Chocolate Starfish. And before someone says I only like em cuz Fred raps, lemme tell you I hate it when he does and like it when he sings. And sings angry. Break Something is classic. Fred is a horrible rapper. I like LB for the angry dont give a **** voice. Just seems to be missing since ole boy left. Whats his name, the guitar guy with the pure black contacts? And is he doing anything since leaving LB?

His name is Wes Borland, and yes, Limp sucked since he left. He was by far the coolest member of the group, but got sick of Fred being such a punk. I think he is doing some music with his brother, google his name, I am sure you will find something....

Cool, just seems they doing softer songs now. Maybe Fred relies on the tone of the song when he writes it.

Wes borland. One of the worst guitarists ever. You guys should pick up the 7th Heaven promo video from Ibanez guitars. It's Ibanez' 30 minute advertisement for 7-string guitars. It has the guys from Korn, Fear Factory, Limp Bizkit, Steve Vai, John Petrucci of Dream Theater, Andy Timmons, and a great jazz guitarist.

The other guitarists just wipe the floor with the hacks from Limp Bizkit and Korn.

Those guys suck. They suck bad.

Wes Borland Back In Limp Bizkit
(LAUNCH, 08/16/2004 4:00 PM)

By LAUNCH Radio Networks

Limp Bizkit has confirmed the return of guitarist Wes Borland to the band's lineup, signaling a reunion that both sides had sworn would never happen. Limp Bizkit's entire site--news, biography, photos, etcetera--has been replaced by a series of five photos, all showing Borland jamming with the rest of the Bizkit guys. The photos each bear the caption, "August thirteenth, two thousand and four." Borland's return also signals the end of former Snot axeman Mike Smith's tenure with the group. Smith played guitar on one Bizkit album, 2003's tepidly received Results May Vary.

Wes Borland left Bizkit in 2001, over the ever-popular reason of "creative differences." The move crippled both sides: Borland was unable to get a solo project going, and Bizkit leader Fred Durst launched a nationwide search for a replacement guitarist, ultimately settling on Smith.

The band has been writing their next album and reportedly plans to release it in February of 2005. In an interview with Limp Bizkit fan website TheArmpit.net, Durst said that date could change: "I do not know when we will finish recording this album. It will be released as soon as it is finished. The band is on another level at this point in time. A level, I believe, to be the most accomplished mentally we have ever been... the backbone of this unit is more solid than it has ever been."

With regards to the departure of Smith, Durst said, "We are very content with Mike being gone. We are the type of people that stay true to our family and our instincts and at any moment will act on intuition as a whole. Mike wasn't the guy. We had fun playing with him, but always knew, in the back of our minds, that he wasn't where we needed him to be mentally."

Durst added about the band's potential touring plans, "We will be touring as soon as the album is finished. So very soon. And it will be the one you don't want to miss."

The following link contains recent photographs of them in the studio....

My favorite Limp Bizkit album is "Significant Other" since it reminds me of my friends and I driving around constantly listening to it.... I just can associate so many memories of when it was released (in '99) that is unreal (most of them wasted out of my mind after a night of shooting pool)....

Although, Ive always loved "My Way" and "Take A Look Around"...and "Crush" from the "End of Days" soundtrack had a distinctly different sound for them...

I agree that they're not talented as musicians, but I guess I'll always love them out of sentimentality.....
