I can't believe he's still in the league

He isn't a development QB after the weeks he's had to start and proven he's less
Than worthless.

What are your thoughts?

He won't be in the league. This is a useless discussion.

I could see him coaching at SDSU though. He loves his alma mater.

My final thoughts on Lindley.

Ryan Lindley has been given opportunities that most backup QB's in the NFL would dream of. He has been given multiple opportunities to be the starter for the Cardinals, and has had more starts than his talent warrants in the NFL.

So what you will but Lindley has gotten his shot, and shown the type of QB he is. Last year he had a defense, team, and coaching staff that allowed the QB to not have to carry the team. Drew Stanton was winning games as a QB and he wasn't even putting up great numbers, thus Lindley had to do very little relative to what is asked of a NFL QB, and still failed miserably. Lindley had Tom Moore and host of other NFL coaches with all the knowledge and guidance that NFL QB would ever need, and still failed miserably.

I don't care about the "QB room", and what Lindley can do on the sidelines, if that is his best asset then someone in the Cardinals organization has to sit Lindley down, tell him he doesn't have the skills to play in the NFL and hire him as a coach.

As for playing QB ? The Cardinals have an entire offseason to find a better solution than Lindley, and they even have Matthews who they signed to the practice squad last season that may be a better option if a worse case scenario happens again next season. But, Lindley has to go, and I don't really know how anyone could see this any other way. Just look at what he has done with the Cardinals when given the opportunity and that all that needs to be done to see that Lindley cannot be part of any plan when it comes to playing QB in the NFL.

I have no thoughts of lint in my belly button and I have no thoughts about Lindley as a QB. Is he not coaching in high school yet?

He's burnt out his welcome in the NFL. He won't be on a practice squad or otherwise. It's off to either coaching or selling insurance.

And I really do wish the best for him, he just hasn't shown the ability needed to play NFL QB, while being given amazing chances.

How about a barista? Maybe we could use that?

Although Lindley wouldn't make a good barista - he'd get the order wrong, or give my coffee to the wrong person.

It would take him 200+ lattes to finally get it right.

I have compassion for somebody who does all the right things, trys his best, and fails because hes just not talented enough, rather than a guy who fails because he doesnt care.
