Lindsey Vonn is hanging up her skis

Putting an end to all of the speculation about her career, Lindsey Vonn announced Friday she will retire from professional skiing. In a post on her official Facebook page, Vonn said she will take part in the world championships next week in Sweden before hanging up her skis: Questions about Vonn's future grew after she was unable to finish a run at the World Cup super-G on Jan. 20 with pain in her knee stemming from multiple surgeries throughout the course of her career.
