I was at the grocery store today and quickly glanced at Lindy's 2008 baseball predictions. They have the Diamondbacks winning the West. Here is what they predicted for the NL. By the way, this magazine came out before the Mets acquired Santana.

NL East-Phillies
NL Central-Cubs
NL West-Diamondbacks
Wild Card-Rockies

NL Champion-Phillies.

Wow it must have took a lot of imagination to come up with those teams as the ones that win their divisions and the wild card.

Yeah, how in the world could they leave the Mets off that list, even without Santana. I think we need to be wary of the Dodgers, and the Padres are always tough. We need the pitching staff to stay healthy and our hitters to not finish toward the bottom of the league in hitting again. We have very good defense.
