My argument with Cheese and K-9 has absolutely nothing to do with kittens and balloons. I has everything to do with their dissing everything that Keim and Arians have done, claiming that they were wrong to do so, and that K-9 and Cheese both know better how to run this team. That is total malarkey in my book. When I pointed out that they should at least be civil and wait to see what happens before they disrespect them, K-9 said that he had no intention of doing so. I am not advocating sunshine, kittens and balloons. I am asking for simple civility on the part of the posters.

Their actions appear to me to be very troll-like, and they have been doing it over and over for months now, with no apparent intentions of changing. They hijack a post, vehemently blast the poster for his comments, no matter how well founded or supported they may be, and then claim that they both know how it really should be done without supporting their claims except for saying that this has been a crappy franchise for so long that they are entitled to disagree with everything that anyone associated with it has done.

That, to me, exactly fits what you just described as a troll. Their interest is not in at all in conversation, it is merely in flaming. They constantly demand proof and links from the posters they disagree with, but when you give them the information to find the answers, they insist that you write it out for them. Their purpose is to argue, to denigrate, and to disrespect, and not to discuss issues civilly. I am not buying what you are trying to sell at all.

I would assert that the original post in this thread completely obviates your entire argument.

What did you expect to find in this thread, started by me, with the title "Lipstick on a Pig," Catfish? If you don't want to hear it, don't click on the thread.

I was listening to the radio the other day and, I think it was Breer who said, the cap will go up significantly in 2015. The person(Breer?) said this year and next that FA's will likely be forced to sign 1 year contracts, as has been the case this year.

One of the reasons a big increase is being forecasted is the the NFL's contract with Directv for the Sunday ticket is up in 2014 and the NFL is going to open up the package, or some form of the package, to other media outlets and that will result in a huge windfall.

It should go up in a year or two. I don't know if its the 2014 season or 2015 season but the like here tells all about it money wise.

I think it is next year we should see an increase up to 140M per team. Just my guess.

You went on to call it an 'optimistic look', but it is so filled with pessimism and denigration that it might as well read 'don't believe the lies that SK and BA are telling you'.

Another interesting feature of the new CBA is that it greatly expanded the free agency pool, and has introduced a new free agency period post-draft.

Teams that don't get their desired safety, pass rusher, or cornerback in the draft are going to have a very good number of very cheap, very desperate veterans to walk in and play a starting role while younger players develop.
