Enver Lisin of the Coyotes has left the franchise and is back in Russia. He has been suspended indefinately for breaching contract. Lisin had been struggling defensively on the North American ice and was sent to San Antonio of the AHL but left for his former Russian team instead of reporting. He has nothing to prove at that level and continuing to play in Russia will only be detrimental to his development, which is a shame as he is one of the most promising offensive prospects we have. I'd be surprised to ever see him in a Coyotes uniform again. :bang:

Wow... wow...

Can it possibly get worse for this pathetic franchise?

pathetic franchise?

I think pathetic is a little harsh. Losing franchise may be better. I honestly think the Coyotes are trying. They were almost .500 last season and added some depth and talent on the blue line, yet the team is worse this season?

I just read in The Hockey News that Lisin has an NHL worst -18 plus/minus rating. I don't know if he can play defense.
