In my opinion, he's better than adams, brown and mcfadden. He would be an a good slot covering db. his credentials are better than all the cardinals db's,even drc.

That's why the Jets cut him and traded for Cromartie!

Credentials don't cover. Now I will take Lito over Brown and Adams but to say he's better then DRC is more then goofy.

I watch a good number of Jets & Eagles games and Lito isn't what he use to be.

If you took the time to read what I wrote, you'll clearly see that I didn't say he was better than DRC! Only, his credentials are. And to say he wouldn't be an upgrade over what the cardinals currently have is laughable! I find it remarkable that a backup safety from the jets can come here and be considered a savior and an upgrade over Rolle yet, a proven starting corner back, who is clearly better than everyone on the cardinals roster except DRC, can't! While I love this team, I'm not any type of apologist for the team and especially the ownership who have pulled the wool over the fans eyes for too many years and have gotten away with it!

Sheppard wasn't even the #2 CB during the playoffs.

What credentials would that be? Over the last two years who has the better credentials. Its a what have you done for me lately league and DRC has done a better credentials over the last two years. Lito Sheppard hasn't done anything in this league since 2006. Now he is only 29 so he might be able to get that swagger back but I am not holding my breath after a 3 year hiatus.

Rhodes was benched for count them, 2 games last year. TWO games. He was not a backup safety. He was the starter for all but two games and was the starter last 4 games of the year and starter for all 3 playoff games, after the ONLY 2 game demotion.

The same argument you apply to sheppard also applies to Rhodes! what has Rhodes done since he signed his big contract in 06? Nothing much! He has not lived up to the big contract he signed and according to some within the jets, this was considered a salary dump. Even the jets fans had soured on the guy!!! Rolle has more upside than he does, more athleticism, and a better playmaker! Those thinking Rhodes is better need to pray he gets back to his playing level of 06!
Sheppard has accomplished more than Rhodes also! He was injured for most of the 2007 season and has been average in 09. But as I have stated earlier, I do not believe that Sheppard is better than DRC. However, he is better than the rest of the cardinals corners and his presence would be an upgrade. And if you chose not to believe this well.......
