Chris Del Conte probably would've been the guy a few months ago. Lute Olson has zero chance or desire for several reasons the most notably being health.Livengood just said his contract won't be renewed. He's pursuing the UNLV job in earnest.
Will his replacement be internal? External? What about Lute Olson?
If this idiot take Dykes with him I am going be so pissed.
Livengood couldn't sell insulin to a diabetic. I don't think he is going to sell Dykes on coming to UNLV
Dykes says he's staying:

Why would Dykes go to UNLV? Bad facilities, no fan base and no chance of competing with the Utahs and BYUs of the conference.
Fran is Mackovic 2.0, Hauck has some serious baggage.
Livengood continues to suck.
What serious baggage does Hauck have, other than choking in three National Championship games?
Most schools have thugs, they just don't recruit them after being booted out of other programs, have outstanding warrants, or been convicted in the court of law. We all know your Big Sky homerism knows no bounds but Bobby Hauck has been around the West Coast awhile. He knows Colorado, the Northwest, and California and has won big at Montana. Yet he has never gotten serious attention from any MWC, WAC, or Pac-10 program until now.
The guy's a slimeball. Saying home invasion, sexual assault, and physical intimidation are overblown is insulting as is saying it's only the school newspaper after him. Hauck has been deservedly dinged by every media outlet in Montana over the type of player he recruits.
Not every Wildcat is a saint. I should know this as a former Wildcat later became a prized recruit for Hauck after Mike Stoops kicked him out of Tucson for incidents off the field (I heard he flashed a gun at a party amongst other things). This player later landed in jail for an armed home invasion in Montana. It might shock you but most coaches in this country choose not to have gun-waving headcases with awful grades join their program.I didn't realize every Wildcat was a Saint. I didn't realize you followed Montana football so closely, and read all the Montana media outlets. My bad.
