I know I'm old fashioned and a dinosaur when it comes to stuff like this but man, I just. don't. get. the addiction society has today with smartphones. Look at every single one of those players. All with their heads down lookin' at their phones.

I downgraded mine to an old fashioned flip phone. I don't really do social media, and I don't follow anyone on twitter.

I'm not even old!

Then again, I guess I'm glad a bunch of you guys do because you are all breaking news on here via twitter.

I'm with you man... I have a smart phone, but use it to check mail once in a blue moon, or occasionally for GPS.

We hosted a dinner for our daughters high school softball team last year.. They were all in the backyard sitting around the pool, I went out back to let them know dinner was ready... All 14 girls had their noses buried into their cracked iphone screens.. not one looked up, They eventually started to file inside.. most still looking at their phones.

Sad.

My phone is dumber than my X-wife, it can't do a lot of functions I see others getting down on. Who downloads music? I'm still with Pandora and Youtube and neither work on my phone. My phone is still an annoying way of people getting a hold of me. I don't hustle, and I'm almost 40 years old, all I gotta do is stay in touch with the old lady. The worst thing in the world after a good trip is a phone ringing, it means your back.

I am a tech geek compared to all of you. I carry around a Note 3 and love it. I don't tweet or facebook on my phone at all. I view this site, many other sites and my email. I also check B/R and the Cards app. Would kill myself it I ever went back to my old flip phone.

Yeah I definitely don't understand the idea of everyone having their head buried in their phones during a pool party, but I get it at an airport or any less stimulating situation like it. There is so much you can do on a smart phone and tweeting, texting and facebook are only a small part of what you could do.
