Let me think here a minute, I believe there is another QB by the name of Manning who hawks pizzas too. Doesn't he also hawk insurance too??

Um, Manning is also a hall of fame QB and has had a long and illustrious career which includes a Super Bowl championship. Leinart was a 1st round draft pick who was relegated to a backup role who never realized his potential who is remembered as a tremendous bust. Also, Leinart isn't even the star of his commercial the way Michael Bolton is. Huge difference. Also, Manning's endorsements are because of him. Leinart's commercials he's nothing more than comic relief playing off of his failure as an NFL QB.

Who cares?

Both of them have more money than likely anyone on this thread will ever have.

I have no idea what this thread is about even it's silly. He doesn't look all broken up about his fate.

After the initial ego blow, he has it better than most, he leaves the game with a big chunk of change, and a relatively healthy body.

Why would he be sad? He has a great life. No one mocked all those former players who made commercials for Lite beer and other products.

So what. They both make commercials for pizza. Some are trying to make it like it's a bad thing or sad state of affairs if Leinart does it both it's okay if another player does it. All I'm saying is they both do it so I don't see the difference. They are both making money on the side doing pizza commercials. All Pizza Hut or Papa John's care about is they both increase their sales of pizza.

Well there is a big difference in that Peyton own a huge stake in the pizza he is hawking. He bought several PPJs in the Denver area, if not all of them.

My point is that Leinart is the butt of the joke and not even the main focus of the ad where Manning is the main pitchman. Manning is a sure fire hall of famer while Leinart is less than so so he's sort of a joke in his commercials. Also, I'd be willing to bet that their compensation for each ad is quite different.
