Here's one thing I can say, if Babby really is trying to get better faster then why the hell is Sebastian Telfair still in a Suns uniform?

Bc that is the surest way to a better pick this summer. Part of the plan.

You can't criticize them for not being there, and then criticize them for trying to be there.

I was not very clear with this comment. I was referring specifically to trying to be a preferred free agent destination.

Its like saying "youre fat. Its your fault and its stupid for you to go on a diet."

Sorry been without a PC for a few days since I posted this... Dudley was one of the players that Babby likes & is really happy with the contract that Dudley has... saying it's fair for the team & the player.

I'm not gonna fault the guy for everything that's happened before he got here. Obviously lots of bad decisions were made before he arrived that put this team on a downward spiral. I like his openness & honesty on the state of the team & the state of the organization. He didn't try to put spin on things like you normally get from the front office. Even on the Dragic/Brooks trade... he said that they underestimated how poor Aaron Brooks state of mind was from everything he went through in Houston... he was pissed off and jaded and it brought negativity into the locker room and affected his game... then he bolted for China & isn't with the team this year. They thought he would be the piece that got Nash more rest & would help the Suns get into the playoffs.

Let's face it, there's no quick plan to turn us into a championship contender overnight... or probably even over the next 2-3 seasons. Hopefully Babby means it when he says that they're putting more money & effort into scouting for the draft & also for free agents/tradeable players.

The good news is that in basketball 1 piece can make huge difference. Look at what Lin has done for the Knicks (without Amare and Anthony). He has made Chandler look all world.
