When a workaholic like Aaron Donald retires, he doesn’t just stop working. He may not be going through practices or preparing for games, but it’s abundantly clear that Donald still lives in the gym.
The three-time Defensive Player of the Year shared a video this week on his Instagram story showing off his physique and it looks like he could still go for 15 sacks a season. He might even be getting more jacked the longer he’s in retirement.
Sean McVay has tried luring Donald back into the Rams’ building, doing so at his own son’s birthday party last year, but No. 99 is happily retired and doesn’t seem to have any interest in chasing down quarterbacks anymore – despite his body saying otherwise.
And in case anyone was wondering, he's still rocking his old Rams gear with the blue and gold ram-head logo.
Donald will be 34 in May, which still isn't too old for a defensive lineman to be productive in the NFL. Calais Campbell is still doing it at the age of 38 and he just signed a one-year deal with the Cardinals.
Oh, what Rams fans would give to see Donald suit up for one more year.
