Well, I think on the right team he still has a lot of value. I don't have a problem trading him if the return is decent, but I don't see the point in getting rid of him just to get rid of him.
With Royce and Beal, I think Allen is redundant, and could be a chip to get us some size and athleticism.

I think Beal is gone for sure, and I would much rather keep Allen over Royce, but I am ok if all 3 go as long as it gets us younger assets.

I think I would go the other way. Allen is more consistent shooting the 3 but Royce is better defensively and defense was our weakest suit. I guess it depends on who else we bring in. If we have a lot of rangy defenders then sure, keep Allen.

toughness - that's what we should keep - that's what the league is getting back to - greyson is plenty tough as is oneale - id keep either or both as they are not the issue - they're not max players eating up the newly defined pie and they're not minimum wage for a reason - we have them both signed for awhile

toughness - the gauchos showed toughness and richards showed toughness - aside from dunn i don't think any of them are starters as is but does that matter? if we're not going anywhere in the immediate future? maybe we should tend the crops for a couple seasons because we got ripped off at the market

cody martin - keep him - one year left let's see what his toughness provides

when kd and beal are gone we'll still have devin booker - devin booker is not tough but he isn't weak - he's not jag but he's not a max player

only true starters i think we're keeping is book and dunn - greyson or (not and) oneale could be a starter but it would have to stay that way - no more musical chairs - bud destroyed us with that bull ish

so book and dunn and i'd say greyson - more consistent from 3 and can penetrate/dish - richards might get the start tho as centers are becoming high commodities again

bench im looking at gillespie - martin - oneale and oso (so far)

Allen is pretty bad defensively compared to Oneale. Allen used to be a dirt worker until we paid him. O'neale is slightly better rebounder. Very comparable stats, but O'neale is also cheaper.

O'neal has zero ability to break down the D by driving or creating his own shot. Allen's not great at it, but he is 5 times better at it than O'neal.

Whatever, I'm fine with them both going, I want younger players.
