So is the fact we were not ourselves. we did not play to our potential and 49ers did not have a lot to do with it.

I was so sick yesterday of hearing how bad the cards are and what a terrible year they are going to have. If listening to Jimmy Johnson's rage during pregame wasn't enough, I had to listen to Brian Billick (a former PR man for the 49er's I believe) doing the color commentating, tell us that the Niners with a 2-0 division record now have it sewed up. I can't believe the stuff I was hearing yesterday and it is only week 2!!!!

Oh well, I guess Pittsburg must be out of it now since they have the same record as the lowly Cards.

You took out our best player on offense and we still beat you down in Arizona coming in as a 7 point underdogs. That says alot about the character of the 49ers. We came home and dominated a Seahawk team that shut out the Rams the week before. Keep talking about that trash but we know what kinda team we have.

Yea it was a beat down because we came in as a 7 point underdog. Nobody on your team did anything except Hightower who was just a pawn in that chess game. The 49ers wanted him to catch all of those underneath passes and have Willis clean up the mess.

I've stopped listening to the national media this season. Waste of time for me. They have made some very wild, unsubstantiated predictions this season. My personal favorite was the Packers prediction that they would nearly run the table this season because they had a stellar preseason. Or the flip flop from the Pats running away with the AFC East to the Jets doing so. And finally, every pundit trying to find ways to make us 3rd in our division behind Seattle and SF. I'm glad Matt Millen of all people called SF a "pretender" to stop the man love for them after two games.

Speaking of SF fans, it is way too early to start thumping your chests. 2 games and the division is yours? Please. The only guarantee in the NFC West so far is that the Rams won't be relevant. Not saying SF is a bad team because the team looks solid thus far, just saying its too early to plant your flag anywhere.

Once Shaun Hill has to make a pass that isn't a check down to his RB or tight end or a 5 yarder to his WR to win they will be in trouble. Yeah, he had a bomb to a wide open Isaac Bruce in week 1 when McFadden got shook, but that's a throw any starting QB should make. If San Fran can come out of this patch of awesome with a winning record I'll be thoroughly impressed:

It doesn't matter how SF beat us - they beat us, they got the win, we got the loss, and now we have to be ready for Indy.
