Having a major "3rd option" on offense makes the rest of the offense that much more dangerous.

Yes, similar to the way the Spurs have three strong, independent threads of offense (Duncan, Parker and Ginobili).

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Grant Hill actually brings to the Suns this year. It will be interesting to watch.
